Virginia Education Association (VEA) District H Elections Open Today

Today marks the beginning of the voting period for Education Association of Alexandria (EAA) members to participate in the VEA's District H Presidential election. For those who do not know, District H encompasses our local educators union along with Falls Church, Manassas City, Manassas Park, and Arlington's local unions.

The current incumbent is Rosina Simmons who is a member of our very own EAA out of Francis C. Hammond Middle School! She is facing some stiff competition this year from candidates from Falls Church and Arlington and the EAA has encouraged everyone to come out and vote for Rosina!

The voting period will be open until April 26, 2024 and EAA members will be permitted to vote via ballots given to you by your building representative(s). If you do not have a ballot, please get in contact with your building representative.
